I have spent over 23 years keeping critical systems running for people who depend on them: students, teachers, and public administrators across Brazil. At SME Fortaleza — one of Brazil's largest municipal education departments — I manage an infrastructure of approximately 200 VMs and lead a team of analysts supporting over 140,000 users daily.
My work spans VMware virtualization, Windows Server and Linux administration, network security with Fortigate, CheckPoint SASE, SentinelOne EDR, and F5 BIG-IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VoIP/SIP operations. In recent years I have built AI-powered internal tools that my team uses every day: a Zabbix-integrated monitoring chatbot, an Active Directory query interface, and automation scripts that provisioned over 140,000 Google Workspace accounts — replacing a fully manual process. I hold postgraduate degrees in IT Governance and AI applied to Public Sector Management.

Infrastructure & Web Applications
Administration and optimization of application servers in critical environments using technologies such as Java, PHP, Apache, Tomcat, and Nginx. Constant focus on performance tuning and uptime for systems supporting the educational operations of the city of Fortaleza. SME Fortaleza website.
Network Security & Resilience
Advanced configuration and management of perimeter security solutions: Fortigate, Check Point SASE (full production deployment including Auth0 connector troubleshooting), PfSense, and SonicWall. Led a 3-month SentinelOne EDR PoC, validating adoption on a legacy hardware fleet with excellent resource efficiency. Managing services published under F5 BIG-IP. Responsible for ensuring secure connectivity between administrative units and schools, mitigating external risks and vulnerabilities.
Observability & Monitoring
Implementation and management of observability platforms using Zabbix. Custom dashboards for real-time monitoring of network assets and servers, enabling predictive failure identification and significant reduction in mean time to response (MTTR).
Email Migration
Technically led the large-scale migration from Zimbra to Google Workspace. The project involved planning and executing the transition of over 140,000 email accounts, ensuring data integrity and communication continuity for the entire Fortaleza school network.
Public Sector IT Projects
Architecture and delivery of IT projects addressing the dynamic demands of the Municipal Department of Education of Fortaleza (SME). Translating educational needs into robust technology solutions, aligning IT governance with public management goals.
